This online course prepares students for the mountain, covering the basics of safety and proper techniques. It serves as a guide, directing students on what to research to further their snowboarding knowledge.
Tuition for this course is $500. When enrolled you will have access to the course and up to $1,500 in fees to spend on anything you wish for the student to snowboard. This will all be paid using classwallet
For example: You enroll the student and pay the $500 tuition. The student is 10 years old and is brand new to snowboarding so you book a $500 private lesson at Nordic Valley. The student loves it and excels and wants more. So you buy a season pass to Snowbasin for $550 and a yearly rental of equipment for $350 and a new ski coat for $100.
Another example: Your 10 year old has some experience at snowboarding and already knows the basics. You enroll in the course for $500 and get a free season pass to Nordic Valley (kids ski free). The student doesn’t yet own any snowboarding equipment so you spend $1,000 in fees to get top a of the line snowboard, boots, bindings, helmet, goggles, coat, pants. The whole set up is yours. You now have up to $500 in snowboard related expenses or you can spend the money elsewhere for the students education.
The most common use would be private lessons and season passes.
Travel expenses will not be covered.
